Year 6 Camp - Lake Macquarie

Wow! Our camp at Lake Macquarie last week was absolutely fantastic. We were so fortunate that the weather held up for all students to enjoy the main outdoor activities planned by the Cru Leaders. We arrived in high spirits and the enthusiasm and joy was visible on the students' faces throughout the 3-days at camp. They showed tremendous resilience as they developed their canoeing, sailing, rock climbing and initiative games skills. Students were very kind to one another and lending a helping hand where needed. We also had lots of fun when the rain did set in on Friday. The Cru Leaders provided lots of active and fun alternative games and activities under cover. Students also benefited greatly from the daily Christian reflection time during which they had opportunities to learn and discuss more about God's amazing work. Enjoy!
