Term 1: Week 5 Update

It's wonderful to see the students be very creative and resourceful with their home learning. The book covers students produced demonstrate an abundance in imaginative thinking and design ideas. Thank you very much for supporting your child in their efforts. Could I ask you to sign the home learning grid, too.

This week's home learning includes time for students to start drafting their Graduation Diploma Design Brief Template as well as their letter to Mr Scott that explains their proposed project and community service ideas. We discussed it together in class and looked at a number of examples. The templates are on p.9 and p.10 in the Diploma Handbook. Students are encouraged to ask questions and seek guidance if they are unsure.

In Science, students were introduced to a new resource called 'Education Perfect', in which they have two online modules to complete. They commenced these in class this afternoon and they should be able to continue at home. It is accessible through SLIK and the icon looks as follows:



Last Friday, we celebrated the induction of our school leaders and here are some photos I took at the Assembly. We have also been enjoying the flexible learning spaces that our classroom offers.
